NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 19 at the Tokyo Dome had an attendance of 24,107. That was down from the Wrestle Kingdom 18 attendance which was 27,422. The Dome has a capacity of 55,000.

In the main event, Zack Sabre Jr. bested Shota Umino to retain the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship.

Both Josh Barnett and Oleg Boltin competed in the New Japan Ranbo Battle Royal. During Barnett’s post-match comments (via @IssitaMarie on X), he called out Boltin for New Year Dash on January 6th.

Mayu Iwatani’s reign as IWGP Women’s Champion continued when she picked up a win over AZM. It was Iwatani’s ninth defense of the belt since winning it from Mercedes Moné in April 2023.

The IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship match between DOUKI and El Desperado was stopped due to DOUKI suffering an injury. Prior to that, DOUKI was accompanied to the ring by Shidō Nakamura II, who is a Japanese kabuki and film actor.

In the semi-main event, Tetsuya Naito defeated Hiromu Takahashi.
