WWE’s Bronson Reed has provided an update on the damage to his ankle sustained at Survivor Series in November.

Taking to social media on Sunday evening, Reed addressed speculation about his injury and provided more detail.

“Let’s clear up some things,” he began. “Dirt sheets report ankle fracture or injury. I unfortunately smashed my talus bone completely in half, I had it surgically repaired with screws and fragments taken out. Also had some bone marrow taken from my hip and put into my foot.”

Reed ruled out his involvement in key WWE events in the coming months. “Now this means I won’t be at Raw Netflix Premiere, don’t expect a Rumble surprise, and the biggest loss is no Mania,” he stated.

He concluded: “Please keep up with me on social media at this time. Understand I’ve had a serious injury, undergone serious surgery, and have serious implications from that. It’s not merely a fracture!”

The talus bone sits between the lower leg bones and the heel bone. It plays a key role in forming the ankle joint and helps transfer weight and forces between the leg and foot.

Reed, currently attached to the Raw brand, had been gaining significant traction in the latter half of 2024.

He sustained the injury executing a Tsunami splash from the top of the cage during the men’s WarGames match at Survivor Series on November 30th, 2024.
