John Cena declares for 2025 WWE men’s Royal Rumble match

Cena declares for the Rumble.

December 2025 will be when 16-time WWE World Champion John Cena wraps up his in-ring career. His retirement tour began on WWE Raw’s debut on Netflix.

As his in-ring segment was underway, Cena brought up a potential 17th WWE World Title victory. He stated that he does not see it happening because it’s been over 2,000 days since he won a match. He stated that it’s never going to happen.

Cena then backtracked and said it would take a miracle for that to happen. He added that he cannot just waltz into a World Title match and he’d have to either cash-in Money in the Bank, survive the Elimination Chamber or win the Royal Rumble match.

That led to Cena declaring for the 2025 men’s Royal Rumble and saying he’s going to win the match. The Premium Live Event is scheduled for February 1st at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana.
