Levesque fields questions from the media.
Wrapping up the press conference following the debut of Monday Night Raw on Netflix was WWE Chief Content Officer Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque.
He stated that he spoke to Netflix executives and WWE President Nick Khan about the early numbers for the show and they were strong. He added that those at Netflix were pleased and thrilled.
Levesque thanked Jey Uso for not opting to smoke with Grammy-nominated artist Travis Scott during their entrance. He said people should expect to see more of Travis in WWE and announcements are coming soon. After Scott appeared with Uso, he returned to the backstage area and was excited like ‘a little kid.’
Chad Gable asked Raw General Manager Adam Pearce to get the ‘best luchador’ Pearce can find to pit against him on the 1/13 Raw. Levesque says people already know who Gable’s opponent is.
Speaking about the format on Netflix, he said it’s different than it was on USA Network. Inserting commercial breaks was one of the examples he used. He stated that there will be a more manageable commercial load.
