Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson appears at New Year’s Evil.
It was promoted that Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson would be present at NXT New Year’s Evil from Los Angeles, California on January 7th. His first appearance came when Ethan Page was speaking to General Manager Ava about not having a spot on the show.
Johnson entered the picture and said he’s the ‘Final Boss’ but on NXT, his daughter Ava is the final boss. He told Ethan that if they’re going to be cool, Page needs to be cool with Ava.
To wrap up the program, Johnson had an in-ring segment. He reiterated that he wanted to give Cody Rhodes his props at the Raw on Netflix debut. He then joked on those who said he could not be nice to Rhodes. Johnson said he knew for several weeks that he’d be at NXT, but did not know what to say.
He expressed his gratitude to the audience and said Raw on Netflix at the Intuit Dome was the ‘sexy ticket,’ but NXT is what you want to go to.
