AEW’s Anthony Bowens will miss Saturday’s episode of Collision after evacuating his home as a precaution because it is close to one of the L.A. wildfires.

Of the four major fires burning across Los Angeles, California, the largest is the Palisades fire, covering more than 22,000 acres.

Bowens stated on social media that he and his husband had left their home:

Hey everyone, I unfortunately won’t be making it to Collision today. The #PalisadesFire started moving towards my home last night and as a precaution Michael and I had to pack up and leave the area. We are safe and so is the neighborhood as of now. Hopefully it stays that way. Shout out to the LAFD for working so hard to try and slow the spread of this fire down.

The Palisades fire is expanding east, and authorities have responded by issuing new evacuation orders, including for parts of the Brentwood area. The Encino and Mandeville Canyon communities are also reportedly under threat.

LA Fire Chief Kristin Crowley said on Saturday that aircraft are helping with a “relentless air attack” on the blaze, which expanded by over 1,000 acres overnight.
