Josh Alexander has stated he is to miss what was meant to be his final indie booking for the foreseeable future.

Alexander had been set for Prestige Wrestling’s Roseland X event in Portland, Oregon on Saturday. The Canadian had been billed to face Kevin Blackwood.

Alexander wrote on X:

Sadly, I cannot make it to @WrestlePrestige tonight for what would have been my last indie match for the foreseeable future.

This one’s completely out of my hands. Due to international travel issues, I cannot appear tonight. I’m as disappointed as everyone else.

That being said [Prestige Wrestling] has a wild card planned & is consistently one of the best promotions in the world.

Alexander, 37, announced in November that he was wrapping up his independent appearances. His contract with TNA Wrestling is reportedly due to expire at the beginning of February.

The Roseland X card is due to be headlined by Alan Angels vs. Mike Santana, and also features Masha Slamovich, Masato Tanaka, Timothy Thatcher and Kylie Rae. The show will stream on Prestige’s YouTube channel at 10.00pm ET.
