On Saturday, Pro Wrestling NOAH crowned a new GHC National Champion in front of a full house at Korakuen Hall.

The promotion staged its first event of the year at the famous arena featuring Tetsuya Endo unseating Manabu Soya for the GHC National title.

With a listed attendance of 1,535, Endo and Soya headlined the show ending with a Burning Star Press and a new champion crowned. Soya’s reign ends four months after becoming champion last September.

Endo recently stated he was taking an indefinite hiatus from DDT to focus on duties with Pro Wrestling NOAH.

The show was structured around a series of matches between lead heel group Team 2000X and members from All Rebellion. It culminated with a 6-on-4 handicap match in which GHC Heavyweight champion OZAWA teamed with stablemates Omos, Jack Morris, Daga, Yu Owada, and Yoshitatsu to defeat Kaito Kiyomiya, Kenoh, Alejandro, and Kai Fujimura.
