Taking place on the January 13th Monday Night Raw from San Jose, California was the finals of the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship tournament.
Competing in the final was Dakota Kai and Lyra Valkyria. Kai came out to a new theme song for the match.
The final sequence of the bout saw Kai hit her with a Fireman’s Carry Knee Smash, but Valkyria rolled to the floor. When she got her back in the ring, she attempted to go for her Kaio Kick in the corner, but Valkyria dodged it and went on to put Kai away for the win.
Valkyria is now the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion. Kai and Valkyria shook hands post-match.
