Former TNA Knockouts World Champion Jordynne Grace says she won’t be at Saturday’s Royal Rumble.
Grace attempted to stir doubt regarding her pending WWE debut on Wednesday, going against reports which claimed she would be appearing as part of the Women’s Royal Rumble match on Saturday night in Indianapolis, Indiana.
A social media post from Grace showed a screenshot of a two-way plane ticket, which shows that she’s expected to spend the weekend in Austin, Texas.
“I’m 100% hosting my mom’s 50th birthday party this weekend,” Grace captioned the photo. “Love y’all though.”

Earlier this week it was reported that Grace signed a deal with WWE. She wrapped up her multi-year run with TNA Wrestling earlier this month, closing out her time with the brand with a match against Tessa Blanchard at their Genesis pay-per-view event.
Grace has been one of the stand-out examples of TNA wrestlers who crossed over into WWE programming over the past year. She most notably was a surprise entrant in last year’s Rumble as well, lasting 19 minutes before getting eliminated by Bianca Belair.
Grace has also made a few appearances on NXT programming, including a title match against Roxanne Perez as part of last year’s Battleground card.
Was Grace’s social media post a smoke screen for what will end up being her official debut as a WWE talent on Saturday? Or is she genuinely not going to appear this weekend? We’ll know for sure in just a few days.
