UFC CEO Dana White has come out to publicly condemn fighter Bryce Mitchell for his comments regarding Adolf Hitler and the holocaust.

Mitchell, who has been fighting for the organization since 2018, issued heinous comments on the debut edition of his new podcast. Mitchell’s comments included praise for Adolf Hitler followed by a diatribe against Jewish people, his denial that the Holocaust occurred, and homophobic remarks.

Transcription of Mitchell’s comments from MMA Junkie:

I really do think before Hitler got on meth, he was a guy I’d go fishing with. He fought for his country. He wanted to purify it by kicking the greedy Jews out, that were destroying his country and turning them all into gays. They were gaying out the kids. They were queering out the women. They were queering out the dudes. Do you know where the first tranny surgery ever was? Happened to be in Germany before Hitler took over. You know the books that everybody makes fun of Hitler burning? You know what the books was? Queer books! Hitler burned queer books because Hitler didn’t want a bunch of queers destroying his nation. They can’t produce children.

When he got on meth and he turned on Russia, I believe that’s when he kind of went full nutty. And I don’t think that he was just like the best dude ever. When I say I’d go fishing with him, I’m not saying he was the most trustworthy dude, or I’d love him or whatever. But at some point in Hitler’s life, I don’t think he was that bad of a guy. I really don’t. Now, was Hitler perfect? No, but he was fighting for his people, and he wanted a pure nation.

Later in the discussion with his co-host, Mitchell said, “When you realize there’s no possible way they could’ve burned and cremated 6 million bodies, you’re gonna realize that the Holocaust ain’t real.”

After a Power Slap event in Saudi Arabia, Dana White read a statement on the matter:

I’ve heard a lot of dumb and ignorant shit said over the years, but this is probably the worst,” White said. “First of all, when you talk about Hitler, he was responsible for the death of six million Jews and it was his intent to completely eliminate the Jewish people. And that’s a guy you would want to go fishing with? And think about this, when you look at [World War II], it was the deadliest war in human history. In its entirety, you’re talking about a war that resulted in 15 million military deaths, and 45 million civilian deaths. That doesn’t include at least another 25 million soldiers that were wounded.

“Second of all, Hitler is one of the most disgusting and evil human beings to ever walk the Earth, and anyone that even tries to take an opposing position is a moron. That’s the problem with the internet and social media. You provide a platform to a lot of dumb and ignorant people. We reached out to Bryce immediately when we read what he said, and let him know exactly how we felt about it. But what he said was beyond disgusting and he needs a real education on the facts surrounding Hitler and WWII.

When asked by a reporter about a potential punishment, White did not indicate there would be any punishment or fine issued, “You know I am with free speech. We’re disgusted by it. I think he’s literally one of the dumbest human beings.”

Since the podcast was released, Mitchell has not addressed the comments or reacted to White’s statement.

The 30-year-old fighter is 17-2 and recently competed at UFC 310 in December where he defeated Kron Gracie.
