Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins cause havoc.
The second match on the bill at the 2025 Royal Rumble Premium Live Event was a 2-out-of-3 Falls match for the WWE Tag Team Championships.
D.I.Y. (Johnny Gargano & Tommaso Ciampa) defended the titles against Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley & Chris Sabin). As the fall score was tied 1-1, The Street Profits (Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins) showed up and cost Motor City Machine Guns the title match.
Afterwards, Dawkins and Ford took out the champions Gargano and Ciampa with a kendo stick. Dawkins and Ford were ambushed on an episode of SmackDown by D.I.Y. and as a result, were put on the sidelines. Dawkins had a crutch with him during the run-in and used that on M.C.M.G. and DIY.
