Thorpe took a strap to Williams repeatedly on NXT.
The ongoing rivalry between Eddy Thorpe and Trick Williams is set to continue at NXT’s Vengeance Day Premium Live Event on February 15th.
A vignette for Thorpe aired on the 2/11 NXT on CW and he called out Williams for a Strap match at the upcoming PLE.
On the 2/4 program, Thorpe repeatedly beat Williams with a strap in the middle of the ring. If Williams is to accept the challenge, the Vengeance Day lineup will be listed as follows:
- NXT Championship — Triple Threat Match: Oba Femi (c) vs. Austin Theory vs. Grayson Waller
- NXT Women’s North American Championship: Fallon Henley (c) vs. Stephanie Vaquer
- NXT Women’s Championship — Fatal 4-Way Match: Giulia (c) vs. Bayley vs. Roxanne Perez vs. Cora Jade
- Ethan Page vs. Je’Von Evans
- Strap Match: Trick Williams vs. Eddy Thorpe
Page versus Evans was locked in as long as Evans was cleared to compete. General Manager Ava made him sign a waiver to clear WWE of any liabilities if Page further injures him at Vengeance Day.
