Three matches are set for tonight’s edition of Friday Night SmackDown along with an appearance by Solo Sikoa.
After returning on last week’s episode, Solo Sikoa will appear on tonight’s three-hour episode from Washington, D.C. following his attack on Cody Rhodes.
Sikoa last appeared on the January 17 episode of SmackDown following his loss to Roman Reigns in Tribal Combat on the debut of Raw on Netflix the previous week. Sikoa did not speak on that episode and walked out, returning last Friday at the end of the episode to jump Rhodes.
Tonight’s episode from the Capital One Arena will include two qualifying matches for the Elimination Chamber matches on March 1 in Toronto.
In the men’s qualifier, Jacob Fatu will take on Braun Strowman and Damian Priest. The winner advances to the Elimination Chamber and joins John Cena, CM Punk, Drew McIntyre, and Logan Paul. The final qualifier is this Monday when Seth Rollins faces Finn Balor on Raw.
The women’s qualifying match sees U.S. champion Chelsea Green face women’s tag champion Naomi and the winner joins Bianca Belair, Liv Morgan, Bayley, and Alexa Bliss. The final qualifier on Raw will feature Raquel Rodriguez vs. Roxanne Perez.
Also scheduled tonight is a Women’s Championship match as Tiffany Stratton defends the title against Nia Jax.
The latest update from WrestleTix lists almost 12,000 tickets distributed for the show.
