John Cena’s farewell tour will travel through Europe next month.
While Cena has been away in Budapest, Hungary during recent weeks to film the upcoming movie “Matchbox,” he’ll pick his WWE retirement tour duties back up in a few weeks.
After appearing at the Elimination Chamber PLE on March 1, Cena is now also expected to appear later that month on a trio of Monday Night Raw shows.
Cena will work the three episodes of Raw taking place as part of the promotion’s upcoming European tour. Over the course of three weeks, he will visit Belgium, Scotland, and England.
“In many ways, this Farewell tour started that July night in London,” Cena wrote following the announcement. “Some of the loudest (and latest) nights on tour have been in Glasgow. I haven’t seen the beauty of Brussels in over a decade. For all of these reasons and many, many more, I’m grateful I can to say “Thank You” to these cities and have one FINAL night together as a family.”
It’s been a long time since Cena had a presence on a show in England. Wrestling database Cagematch shows that his last-ring appearance on an England WWE card dates back to nearly a decade ago when he teamed with Daniel Bryan to defeat Cesaro and Tyson Kidd on Smackdown.
Scotland and Belgium similarly haven’t seen Cena since he beat Rusev as part of a 2015 house show tour.
Tickets for all three events are currently on sale.
