Ricky Saints is in NXT.
The official NXT contract signing of Ricky Starks, who had yet to be mentioned by name, took place on the 2/18 NXT. He came out to the show’s theme song ‘Millions From Now’ by 2 Chainz and Lil Wayne and then joined General Manager Ava in the ring.
Ethan Page interrupted and said Ricky is following his playbook, but he will not be able to top what Page has done when it comes to talents arriving to NXT.
Ricky brought up Je’Von Evans and said although Page beat him at Vengeance Day, people like Evans always come back around and soon after, Evans hit the ring and took the fight to Page.
Ricky was about to sign the contract, but Wes Lee interrupted and said he felt disrespected backstage when Sarah Schreiber stepped away from their interview to go speak to Ricky. A match between Ricky and Wes was set up for the 2/25 NXT in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Lee attempted to sneak Ricky with a punch but it was blocked. Ricky cleared Wes from the ring and then signed his contract. The name on the contract was ‘Ricky Saints.’
Later in the program, Saints was shown walking backstage with Ava. They were approached by Page, who stated that he thought he was done with Je’Von Evans. Wes Lee entered the picture and picked up his beef with Saints. Ava then decided that Ricky and Je’Von are teaming up on 2/25 to take on Lee and Evans.
