The intersection of pro wrestling and fashion will be explored at this year’s South by Southwest (SXSW).
The annual art conference, which is scheduled to take place next month in Austin, Texas, is scheduled to have a “Fashion & Wardrobe Design/Styling in Professional Wrestling” panel on March 9.
The event, hosted by Pro Wrestling Illustrated’s Candace Smith, will feature three influential figures in the world of wrestling fashion coming together.
Likely most recognizable to viewers is Sarath “Mikaze” Ton, a long-time WWE gear designer. He has put together the outfits of many top current stars in the ring, most recently assembling the Royal Rumble outfits for CM Punk and Seth Rollins.
Yolanda Jernigan, a designer who put together the entire outfit for Cody Rhodes at Wrestlemania 39, will also appear as part of the panel.
Going from the world of designing to the sector of styling, the panel will include Troi Haynes, who also goes by “King Troi Anthoni.” The California-based stylist is known for working with Rollins, assembling his flashy and eye-catching outfits seen at WWE events.
Full details on the time and location of the panel can be seen here.
