James said he’d be honored to induct his longtime friend.
The history between R-Truth and Brian ‘Road Dogg’ James dates back to the late 1990s when Truth was first signed to WWE. The duo were paired together there and then made their way into TNA Wrestling as well as 3 Live Kru alongside Konnan.
Truth’s name came up during James’ chat with Chris Van Vliet. It was brought up that Truth said if he is to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame, he wants James to the honors of inducting him and James said he’d be honored to do it.
I would be more than honored (to induct R-Truth into WWE Hall of Fame). I would be more than honored. I love him, I love him. I got some people in my life that I love and he’s one of them… Oh yeah (he could wrestle for another 20 years), because he doesn’t have to do anything. It is magic and look, that’s what we do.
Thus far, there are two names confirmed for the 2025 WWE Hall of Fame class and those are Chief Content Officer Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque and Michelle McCool.
