Dreams and aspirations from Mina Shirakawa.
There’s an interview with Mina Shirakawa on the Pep Shop Collectibles YouTube channel. As the conversation was ongoing, Shirakawa was asked to list dreams and goals that she has yet to check off in wrestling.
She mentioned that her dream is to become AEW Women’s World Champion.
AEW wrestlers (are some of the people I want to face). Women’s wrestlers is my opponent, my rival… Still, my dream is to be AEW Women’s World Champion. So, every AEW wrestler (is) my rival…
Following up on that, Shirakawa went on to share that a dream opponent of hers is WWE’s Asuka. Asuka has given Shirakawa advice in the past and Shirakawa said she loves and respects the multi-time WWE Women’s Champion.
It’s just dream match, I respect Asuka so much. I want to say Asuka-san. Senpai. So, Asuka-san always tell me what should I do in the U.S. ring. She (gave) advice every time and message to me. So, I love her, I respect her but, now I am STARDOM and she is WWE. So, a little bit difficult but yeah, it’s my dream.
This past January, Shirakawa competed inside the Tokyo Dome at Wrestle Dynasty. She fell in defeat to Mercedes Moné and as a result, she lost her RevPro Undisputed British Women’s Championship.
Shirakawa is being advertised for NJPW Windy City Riot on April 11th in Chicago, Illinois.
