  • Steel Cage Match: Will Ospreay vs. Kyle Fletcher at AEW Revolution on March 9
  • AEW Women’s World Championship: Toni Storm (c) vs. Mariah May at AEW Revolution on March 9

** As Tony Schiavone, Excalibur and Jim Ross were welcoming viewers, the camera cut to backstage, where Mariah May attacked Toni Storm. May dragged Storm out to the stage, where she delivered a Storm Zero.

May then called for a spotlight and feigned tears as she said “Look what you made me do.” She stated, “At Revolution, let’s have a Hollywood Ending.”

** Backstage, Kazuchika Okada said he would put down any bitch.

Hologram vs. The Beast Mortos

** An excellent, all-action match in which Mortos provided a great base for the acrobatics of Hologram. Mortos’ agility was on full display also. A solid win for the returning Hologram.

After the bell, Mortos attempted to unmask Hologram but Komander ran out to make the save.

Speedball Mike Bailey is on his way

** Tony Schiavone said that Speedball Mike Bailey was “coming soon” to AEW. This was followed by a short video package.

Harley Cameron tells her (neighbor’s) story

** Lexi Nair interviewed Harley Cameron in the ring. Harley got a great reception from the crowd.

Cameron said she would not stop until everyone knows what it’s like to feel the wrath.

Gabe Kidd vs. The Butcher

** No anti-AEW promo from Kidd, who put on a very aggressive display against The Butcher. A pleased-looking Don Callis was shown watching backstage.

An impressive win for Kidd, who continued to strike Butcher after the bell.

Fletcher answers Ospreay’s challenge

** Backstage, Lexi Nair was with Don Callis and Kyle Fletcher. Callis put over Fletcher’s size and power as they accepted the steel cage match at AEW Revolution.

Julia Hart vs. Queen Aminata

A fine and competitive win for Hart as she continues her return run.

Murder Hurts

** The Murder Machines (Lance Archer and Brian Cage) dragged their opponents out into the ring and won in seconds. Their opponents were never named. After the bell, Cage and Archer called out the Hurt Syndicate.

Out came The Hurt Syndicate. MVP said he was feeling generous and if The Murder Machines beat a “real tag team” next week, he would consider granting a Tag Title shot.

Who are CRU?

** A promo aired for Lio Rush and Action Andretti, billing themselves as “CRU”

AEW World Trios Championships: Claudio Castagnoli, PAC & Wheeler Yuta (c) vs. Daniel Garcia, Matt Menard & Angelo Parker

** A very entertaining trios match. I don’t know how many viewers expected a title change, but the babyfaces were booked strongly.

PAC won the match by locking on The Brutalizer to Parker. He wouldn’t release the hold after the match, which brought out The Undisputed Kingdom for the save. Marina Shafir and Moxley then emerged to help even up the numbers, but Cope would appear to deliver a ConChairTo to PAC twice.

** Backstage, Deonna Purrazzo and Taya Valkyrie ran down Harley Cameron. This led to Tony Khan making a match between Purrazzo and Cameron for AEW Dynamite.

Max Caster’s open challenge

** Caster ran his mouth about “Hangperson”, but his challenge was answered by Brody King from the Hounds of Hell. An emphatic win for King.

** Lexi Nair was backstage with The Outrunners, when the Hurt Syndicate walked by. The Outrunners proposed taking on the Murder Machines next week. MVP said that if they win, they will get a Tag Titles shot.

ROH World Championship: Chris Jericho (c) vs. Bandido

** Jericho emerged without his Learning Tree teammates. Then Bandido came out to a big reaction from the crowd.

Neither man would release the “Code of Honor” handshake until Jericho poked his opponent in the eye. Bandido looked great and Jericho more than did his part in this main-event-worthy match.

Ultimately, Jericho escapes with a quick roll-up to retain the title.
