During AEW Collision on Saturday, Speedball Mike Bailey was announced as “coming soon” to AEW.
After the opening match between Hologram and The Beast Mortos, Tony Schiavone said: “Coming soon to AEW, a great Canadian star: Speedball Mike Bailey.”
This was followed by a highlight reel. No timeframe was given for Bailey’s debut appearance.

Mike Bailey himself took to social media late on Saturday to comment:
I have been blessed for my whole career with unlimited support from all over the world. I can't thank you all enough.
My biggest accomplishment in life has been making every year my best year yet, and I am extremely excited to keep that going in @AEW! #AEWCollision

Bailey’s exact contractual status with the company is not yet known. His contract with TNA expired in November 2024. Although he wrestled frequently for other independent promotions at the tail end of last year, he has not (per Cagematch) yet wrestled a match in 2025.
