Recent TNA world title challenger and long-time U.S. indie talent Jake Something recently underwent surgery for a torn biceps.

Something suffered the injury prior to a Deadlock Pro Wrestling (DPW) event on January 26, per a GoFundMe he recently launched. Something was pulled from the DPW show and hasn’t wrestled since.

Something is now hoping to raise $30,000 to help cover “crippling” financial bills which he says were uninsured.

“As reluctant as I am to even create this, I know it’s the best chance I have at clearing these fees,” Something wrote. “I also know that times are tough for everyone, so no worries if you’re unable to help.”

The fund has raised $11,500 as of Monday afternoon. Among the donors listed on the site are TNA World Champion Joe Hendry, Gail Kim, Raj Dhesi, and Danhausen.

Something was coming off a big 2024, staying active on the indies while being a frequent name on TNA Wrestling’s programming. He worked 28 matches for them last year, including three PLE appearances.

Something has been a stand-out name in DPW recently. He carried the promotion’s world title for over 100 days, defeating Donovan Dijak and Ace Austin in recent months. The title has turned vacant following his injury.
