There was a segment on the program featuring Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes. He came out to speak about the offer he received from Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson on Friday Night SmackDown. Johnson wants Rhodes’ ‘soul’ and in return, he’ll give Rhodes everything he could ever dream of for himself and his family. As Rhodes was speaking about it, Seth Rollins joined the mix. Rollins told Rhodes to not make him regret what he did for him at WrestleMania XL. Rhodes responded by saying Rollins sounded judgmental and said Rollins’ soul is probably already gone. He brought up Rollins turning on The Shield and joining The Authority which was partially responsible for running Rhodes out of WWE. He then gave Rollins credit for helping him dethrone Roman Reigns at WrestleMania XL and called Seth the MVP of that weekend. Rollins said he does not want to hate Rhodes and he’s not coming for his soul, but he is coming for his title.
Lyra Valkyria remains in possession of the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship as she bested Dakota Kai to retain. Post-match, Ivy Nile ambushed Kai and then attacked Lyra.
Adding to the lineup for the 3/3 show is The Creed Brothers (Julius Creed & Brutus Creed) challenging The War Raiders (Ivar & Erik) for the World Tag Team Championships.
In attendance for the show was Adam ‘Pacman’ Jones and the University of Cincinnati football team.
