TNA authority figure Santino Marella sanctioned the match.
For the first time since April 2019, The Hardys (Matt Hardy & Jeff Hardy) competed under the WWE banner. The TNA World Tag Team Champions clashed with No Quarter Catch Crew’s Tavion Heights and Myles Borne.
The match came to a close when Jeff hit a Swanton Bomb onto Borne and then Matt followed up by securing the pin fall victory for the team.
Watching the match from the entrance ramp were NXT Tag Team Champions Fraxiom (Nathan Frazer & Axiom). After exchanging compliments, Jeff threw out the challenge for a tag match between the two.
Coming out to the stage area was Santino Marella, who sanctioned the match for NXT Roadblock on March 11th at The Theater at Madison Square Garden. It’ll be for the TNA World Tag Team Championships. As of this writing, the Roadblock lineup is listed as follows:
- NXT Championship: Oba Femi (c) vs. Moose
- TNA World Tag Team Championships: The Hardys (Matt Hardy & Jeff Hardy) (c) vs. Fraxiom (Nathan Frazer & Axiom)
