A homecoming for Trish Stratus this weekend will start on Friday Night Smackdown.
WWE Hall of Famer Stratus announced Wednesday that she will be present for Friday’s episode of Smackdown at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario.
The episode comes one day before her in-ring return, teaming with Tiffany Stratton to face Nia Jax and Candice LeRae at Elimination Chamber.

Stratus re-appeared on WWE programming last month, competing in the 2025 Women’s Royal Rumble. Saturday’s tag bout will be her first non-Rumble in-ring performance since September 2023.
Ontario’s own Stratus has been at a pair of Smackdown episodes in recent weeks as part of the build to her match at Elimination Chamber. It isn’t known at the moment what Stratus will do as part of her time on Smackdown this week
Friday’s show is also currently expected to include a United States Championship match between Shinsuke Nakamura and LA Knight.
