Levesque takes to the podium.
As the WWE Elimination Chamber Premium Live Event post-show was ongoing, taking to the podium to field questions from the media was Chief Content Officer Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque.
Below are highlights from Levesque’s press session:
- He spoke about John Cena turning heel by attacking Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes and aligning with Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson. Levesque does not think he’s ever felt the entirety of a moment like that. He feels it was one of the biggest things he’s ever seen happen.
- Levesque confirmed that John Cena told WWE to stop calling him the greatest of all-time, but it’s hard to make an argument against it.
- He added that he does not know what Cena will do as a heel.
- Levesque stated that no one knew what was coming with Cena. It was to the point where production was told to lay out and he was going to be directing all traffic after the men’s Elimination Chamber match.
- As far as the possibility of one of the Women’s Title matches main eventing WrestleMania 41, he said it’s always possible. Levesque said nothing is locked for those night one and night two main event spots. He added that whatever resonates the most will main event.
- He commented on Jade Cargill’s return and knows it was an ‘odd road’ to get there. He alluded to not knowing when exactly Cargill would be available to return and luckily, she was able to come back when she did.
- Levesque praised Liv Morgan and said she continues to impress him. He stated that a year ago, some would have said she’s good to have on the roster and is a ‘good hand,’ but she’s earned her spot at the top of the card and he’s incredibly proud of her.
