After the WWE Elimination Chamber Premium Live Event wrapped, talents and executives appeared on the post-show.
Bianca Belair appeared on the post-show with Big E, Joe Tessitore and Peter Rosenberg while the remaining guests fielded questions from the media at the podium.
Below are the highlights:
Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson
- He lives for moments like John Cena’s heel turn.
- Johnson feels he’s reached a point in his career where he can toe the line and go back-and-forth between heel and babyface.
- There was criticism of his appearances at WWE Bad Blood and the Raw on Netflix premiere where he praised Cody Rhodes. Johnson said it was a part of the long game.
- He said it’s possible that rapper and songwriter Travis Scott could end up in the ring with him and Cena. Johnson added that Scott ‘deeply’ wants to be involved and before the final segment at Elimination Chamber, he told Scott that if he wants to get his hands bloody, make it count. Johnson said Scott ‘smacked the sh*t’ out of the Cody.
- He mentioned that John Cena flew in for Elimination Chamber from Budapest and he is flying right back out to Africa to finish filming a movie.
- It is up to Cena whether he will change his gear or not.
- Johnson stated that the parties involved were prepared for all scenarios of how to move forward depending on how the crowd reacted to Cody Rhodes declining his offer.
John Cena
- Cena showed up to the press conference, picked up the microphone, dropped it and left.
Bianca Belair
- She addressed Jade Cargill’s return and her attacking Naomi. Bianca stated that she was shocked. She does not understand what happened and doesn’t think Naomi would attack Cargill. She added that she cannot move on to WrestleMania 41 until she gets answers.
- There is a part of Belair that missed being a singles talent, although she enjoyed being in a tag team.
The attendance number at Rogers Centre was 38,493. The stadium has a capacity of 49,000 to over 50,000 depending on the event.
