Upcoming match announcements

  • ROH World Championship: Chris Jericho (c) vs. Gravity — AEW Revolution, Zero Hour
  • FTR vs. Kyle O’Reilly & Roderick Strong — AEW Collision, March 15th

** Tony Schiavone, Nigel McGuinness welcome us to this taped edition of AEW Collision from the Sacramento Memorial Auditorium in Sacramento, California.

The Opps (Samoa Joe, Katsuyori Shibata & and Hook) vs. Starboy Charlie, Titus Alexander & Jack Banning

** An easy win for The Opps, with Joe, Shibata and Hook all getting some shine.

Cope Speaks

** Backstage, we see Cope’s final promo ahead of his title match with Jon Moxley at AEW Revolution. He calls for the Jon Moxley who set the industry on fire and says he’s a masochist. He said this could be the last time he ever competes for a world title.

Momo Watanabe vs. Serena Deeb

** Mercedes Moné, who faces Watanabe at AEW Revolution for the TBS Championship, comes out before the match (with all her belts) to join commentary. She says she hates Sacramento.

** Watanabe wins a competitive and lengthy match with Deeb. After the bell, Moné taunts Momo in the ring and takes a head kick and meteora for her troubles.

Ospreay’s Broken Empire

** A video of Will Ospreay from Wednesday airs. He laments the destruction of the United Empire faction due to the actions of Kyle Fletcher. He cuts a heated promo and says he will “end this” once and for all.

Harley Cameron vs. Tatevik

** The debuting Tatevik attacks early but Cameron rallies to a decisive and pretty quick win.

Fletcher Replies

** Kyle Fletcher wields Ospreay’s United Empire armband, which he says is a sham. He is hungry for revenge and says he will paint the canvas red with Ospreay’s blood.

The Undisputed Kingdom (Roderick Strong & Kyle O’Reilly) vs. The Infantry (Shawn Dean & Carlie Bravo)

** The Infantry get some good heat on Strong and O’Reilly through heel tactics but ultimately succumb to the Undisputed Kingdom.

Takeshita and Callis

** Don Callis wants to know long it will be before Kenny Omega’s guts explode. He says that Takeshita will end him.

Mox Talks

** Jon Moxley says he and Cope are the last of a dying breed. He says he wants to respect Adam Copeland but will show him no mercy when he gets his hands on his “busted neck.”

Hologram vs. Dralistico

** A predictably tremendous, high-paced and lengthy match between these two. Hologram prevailed in the end.

** The Beast Mortos attacks Hologram after the bell but Komander comes to the rescue. However, LFI stand tall over the babyfaces.

New Match for Zero Hour

Chris Jericho will defend the ROH World Title against Gravity on the AEW Revolution Zero Hour pre-show.

‘Let’s run it back’

FTR and Daniel Garcia are backstage with Undisputed Kingdom. FTR agree to another match with Kyle O’Reilly and Roderick Strong on next week’s episode. Adam Cole says he wants a shot at Garcia’s TBS Title if he retains in the main event.

They Hurt People

** The Hurt Syndicate are backstage. MVP says The Outrunners are entertaining but they will be put down like injured dogs at Revolution.

The Outrunners (Turbo Floyd & Truth Magnum) vs. Premier Athletes (Tony Nese & Ari Daivari)

** Turbo and Truth get an expected win ahead of their title match at Revolution. Champs The Hurt Syndicate come out to watch toward the end of the bout.

Red Carpet Chaos

** We see a clip of Mariah May attacking Toni Storm on the red carpet at the premiere of the Queen of The Ring movie.

TNT Championship: Daniel Garcia (c) vs. Lee Moriarty

** ROH Pure Champion Lee Moriarty comes out first for the main event, as Matt Menard joins the commentary desk. A really solid and competitive main event, with plenty given to Moriarty, but Garcia managed to get the win and retain his title.

After the bell, members of Shane Taylor Promotions emerge to threaten Garcia, but The Undisputed Kingdom come to the rescue.

Kenny Closes the Show

** Unusually for an AEW show, the main event did not close out the broadcast. Instead, we got Kenny Omega’s go-home promo ahead of his match with International Champion Konosuke Takeshita at Revolution. We see footage of the two as friends in DDT. Omega wants to know if Don Callis will discard Takeshita once he loses.
