Six-Man Match
Smackdown from Barcelona kicked off with the new United States Champion LA Knight coming down to the ring to a massive pop and the crowd chanting “LA” in the style of “Olé”. Knight hyped up the first-ever Smackdown in Spain when he was interrupted by Jimmy Uso. Jimmy said he was desperate as he didn’t have a path to Wrestlemania and realized he could challenge Knight for the US title. This brought out Solo Sikoa flanked by Jacob Fatu and Tama Tonga. Sikoa said that if anyone deserves a shot it’s Jacob Fatu and Jimmy should step aside since he’s the failure of the family. This led to all five men brawling before Braun Strowman appeared to even the odds. Nick Aldis then appeared and made a six-man tag team match starting now.

The heel team controlled the early portion of the match, dominating Jimmy Uso with quick tags and cheap shots. LA Knight finally got the hot tag and started going back and forth with Fatu until referee Charles Robinson was distracted, allowing Fatu to gain the advantage. After the commercial break, Knight made a hot tag to Braun Strowman, who single-handedly took down all three men with the Strowman Express. Jimmy Uso then dove onto Fatu, sending him over the announce desk. This left Strowman and Tonga in the ring and Braun hit the running power slam for the victory. The heels then jumped the victors ending with Fatu hitting three “Mighty Moonsaults” on Strowman to end the segment. Fatu then ran back down to the ring from the ramp and put Strowman through the timekeeper’s area barricade. Something didn’t land quite right here, though, as it looked like Fatu jumped through the barricade, not really catching Strowman.

Bianca, Jade, and Naomi
A video recap showing the fallout from Elimination Chamber and last week’s Smackdown, with Naomi admitting to attacking Jade and then getting laid out by Cargill after the fact. Cathy Kelley then interviewed Jade in the empty arena earlier in the day. Kelley asked Jade how she knew that Naomi was the attacker and why she hadn’t told anyone sooner. Jade said that she saw Naomi run away before she passed out. Jade said she had to take things into her own hands. Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez then appeared, complaining that they were blamed for the attack. Jade then challenged Liv Morgan to a match next week and stormed off.

B-Fab vs. Charlotte
Next up, B-Fab said that Charlotte had slept on her, and she was starting to build her legacy. This led directly to B-Fab taking on Charlotte. B-Fab garnered control early in the match heading into the commercial break, but afterward, Charlotte turned the tide and was beating down B-Fab. B-Fab then hit what Wade Barrett called “Legs for Days” for a near-fall. Charlotte then hit Natural Selection and applied the Figure 8 for the tap-out victory. Charlotte refused to release the hold after the bell, which brought out Tiffany Stratton. Stratton and Charlotte then brawled until officials separated them. This happened three or four times and ended with Stratton jumping off the top rope onto a gaggle of officials and Charlotte as well.

Drew Has Been Screwed
A video was shown with Drew McIntyre saying that someone benefitted every time he got screwed. He then went over his getting screwed at Wrestlemania 40 as well as Clash at the Castle, Money in the Bank, Royal Rumble, and Elimination Chamber. He noted that Damian Priest was the catalyst for him losing each time. The Miz was starting MizTV when Charlotte and Tiffany Stratton reappeared, still brawling. This might be a record for one of the longest ongoing brawls in professional wrestling. This time, it ended with Stratton diving off the video Tron onto Charlotte and all the officials.

MizTV with Cody Rhodes
With Charlotte and Stratton finally taken to the back, The Miz finally began MizTV, saying that Cody Rhodes should have taken The Final Boss’ offer. The Miz cut off the Barcelona crowd’s singing of Rhodes’ theme song, and Cody responded by immediately attacking Miz and hitting him with the Cross Rhodes. Cody got on the mic and said he didn’t want to talk to anyone but John Cena and that he would see him this Monday on Raw.

Scolding Nakamura, Priest Looks for a Fight
Footage from earlier in the day showed Nick Aldis scolding Shinsuke Nakamura for misting a referee. Nakamura said he just wanted a rematch. Damian Priest interrupted, asking where Drew McIntyre was. Damian Priest said he was looking for a fight, and Aldis agreed to make the match.
The Fenix Rises?
A brief promo showed a masked wrestler walking on the top rope. Although it was not clear, and no text was shown, this appeared to be Rey Fenix. The music had lyrics that sounded something like, “Can you feel the rise?”

Nakamura vs. Priest
The next match was former United States Champion Shinsuke Nakamura taking on former World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest. This match was back and forth until Priest went for the Broken Arrow before Nakamura took a powder to the outside where Priest attempted to push Nakamura over the announce desk, but unfortunately, they barely hit each other. Priest went for the Broken Arrow again, and Nakamura countered with an armbar. Drew McIntyre then appeared, distracting Priest. Priest was still able to hit the South of Heaven on Nakamura, but McIntyre jumped Priest, causing the DQ. Drew then beat down Priest, and Nakamura added injury to insult with a Kinshasa. The beatdown on Priest continued with Drew throwing him into the barricades at ringside, followed by nailing him with the steel steps and finally hitting him with the Claymore.

DIY & MCMG
Backstage, the Tag Team Champions DIY cut a promo about The Street Profits never being better than second place. Motor City Machine Guns interrupted and said they’d be waiting for whoever came out on top.
Secret Hervice
Cathy Kelley interviewed Chelsea Green backstage. She said that “The Green Administration” was in full force now that she had Alba Fyre. Zelina Vega interrupted and said that she was going to take Green’s United States title.
Randy Orton Returns to the Ring
The next match of the night was Randy Orton’s first singles match in four months, taking on Carmelo Hayes. Hayes started the match trying to shake Orton’s hand as the crowd chanted “RKO.” Of course, Hayes pulled his hand back as Orton went to shake it. Orton dominated the early parts of the match until Hayes hit a chop block and got Orton down on the mat. Orton hit a counter power slam as Hayes came off the rope, following that up with the draping DDT. Hayes then missed Nothing But Net and hit a reverse-flying DDT off the middle rope. Hayes set up for Nothing But Net again, but Orton recovered and executed a superplex. Orton then set up for the RKO, but Hayes countered, hitting the First 48. Orton then hit the RKO from outta nowhere for the victory. After the match, Orton tried to shake Hayes’ hand, but Hayes piefaced him. Orton retaliated with another RKO and set up for a punt when Kevin Owens appeared, pulling Hayes to safety. Owens and Orton started brawling, but Owens was able to escape.

Run the Play
Backstage, Sikoa and Tonga were hyping up Jacob Fatu, and this led to Fatu challenging Braun Strowman to a match next week.

The Ring General vs. Axiom
With no mention of a temporary trade or anything about the brand split, Gunther was out to the ring next. Gunther ran down Jey Uso, calling him a dancing idiot, but then surprised the crowd by introducing one-half of the NXT Tag Team Champions, Spain’s own Axiom. Axiom had the crowd firmly behind him and got a huge pop for slapping Gunther in the face. Axiom hung in there with Gunther for the whole match, much to the crowd’s delight, including kicking out of a powerbomb. The masked luchador then countered a powerbomb from the top rope with a Hurricanrana and then nailed Gunther with a Golden Ratio, but Gunther kicked out at two. Gunther then hit another powerbomb, followed by a lariat and yet another powerbomb for the pinfall victory. After the match, Gunther locked Axiom in a sleeper hold but the referees broke it up.

Happy Roman Reigns Day
Footage was shown of the steel cage match between Seth Rollins and CM Punk from Raw at Madison Square Garden, including the appearance of Roman Reigns beating down both Rollins and Punk. Afterward, Paul Heyman was in the ring and declared it “Roman Reigns Day” because it was the release of the new WWE video game, and Reigns would be live on Smackdown next week from Bologna, Italy, which the crowd booed. Wade and Joe brought up the favor that Heyman owes Punk and wondered how it could come into play.

Jimmy & Gunther
Backstage, Gunther told Jimmy Uso that he was going to hurt Jey if he didn’t bail out of their match at Wrestlemania. Jimmy said that Jey was going to take Gunther’s world title in Las Vegas, and Gunther said he was mistaken about Jimmy’s maturity.

Tag Team Championship Match
The Street Profits were on their way to the ring when they were stopped by Legado del Fantasma, who essentially said the same thing that MCMG said to DIY – that they would be waiting for them after they win the titles. This led directly to the main event with the Profits challenging DIY for the Tag Team titles. The crowd was mostly behind the Profits because of their high-flying maneuvers, but it’s still strange that the Profits are essentially heels. Pretty Deadly was shown watching the match from the back, and the announcers reminded us that they were the #1 Contenders.
The teams went back and forth before the Profits hit a Doomsday Blockbuster, but Ciampa saved the pin attempt. Dawkins then kicked out of a Fairytale Ending combined with a Superkick from Gargano. Gargano then accidentally nailed Ciampa during a Meet in the Middle attempt. The Profits picked up the win and the titles for the second time with a Frog Splash from Montez Ford.

Final Thoughts
The crowd in Barcelona was fantastic, making a mostly ordinary show seem way bigger than it was. That said, there was a lot of brawling throughout, which ultimately felt lazy. Axiom was a nice surprise and showed out with Gunther in what was probably the match of the night. Also interesting, this recap was written going off of the international broadcast on Netflix and the show actually went off the air almost ten minutes before the three hours were up.
