** We see promos to the camera from Ricochet, Shibata, Mark Davis and Mark Briscoe, who are all competing in the AEW International Title eliminator tournament.

** The Undisputed Kingdom and FTR speak next, and then we are into the opening titles.

** Tony Schiavone and Nigel McGuinness welcome us to The Theater at Virgin Hotels, Las Vegas.

AEW International Title Eliminator: Ricochet vs. Katsuyori Shibata

** A big match to kick off the show in this interesting-looking and relatively intimate venue.

During the match, Tony Schiavone reminds us that Collision will air twice next weekend at 11 pm ET. ‘Slam Dunk Saturday’ and ‘Slam Dunk Sunday’ will air right after NCAA basketball on TNT.

This was a very solid match, with Ricochet just about emerging the winner to join the International Title challenger’s four-way match.

Toni’s Soup Recipe

** ‘Timeless’ Toni Storm welcomes us to Las Vegas, who cuts a promo on Megan Bayne. She says Megan is a hammerhead shark, but she knows how to make shark fin soup.

** The Murder Machines try to fire up Mark Davis by beating up some randos backstage.

Powerhouse Hobbs vs. Griff Garrison

** Griff is accompanied by The Frat House for this match. That doesn’t do him much good, as Hobbs deals with all of them in double time.

The Frat House attack after the match but The Outrunners are quickly out to help Hobbs clear the ring.

Bringing the Thunder

** Thunder Rosa is with Lexi Nair, who cuts a promo on Megan Bayne’s disrespect. In runs Bayne to attack. As Bayne leaves, Rosa yells “My wrist!”

AEW International Title Eliminator: Mark Davis vs. Mark Briscoe

** Mark Davis is out first to his literal one-note theme. Briscoe is out next to a big reaction. An excellent eliminator match, with the crowd solidly behind Briscoe, who got some big nearfalls. Perhaps predictably, the Murder Machines interfere to allow Davis to grab the pinfall and advance.

Four-on-Two Match: Murder Machines vs. Local Talent

** Archer and Cage annihilate their unnamed opponents in no time flat. As the pair continue to beat down their opponents, Mark Briscoe and Powerhouse Hobbs emerge. They all brawl to the back.

Whose House?

** Swerve Strickland comes out to the ring. He talks about the toll taken on him by his match with Ricochet, stating that he has a busted eardrum. He notes that he became AEW World Champion at Dynasty 2024. He says that he and Cope go back a long way, but right now he is standing in Swerve’s way. He adds that he sees desperation in Jon Moxley. As he his ending his promo, Moxley attacks with a crowbar and a stomp, before running away.

Outside, Mox runs down all his opponents and says Cope is a dead man on Wednesday.

Thunder Rolling

** Lexi Nair is in the trainer’s room with Thunder Rosa, who insists she is OK to take on Megan Bain.

Top Flight & Hologram vs. Shane Taylor Productions

** This trios encounter is billed as a “standby match” because Powerhouse Hobbs’ match was over so quickly. As the bell is about to ring, Action Andretti and Lio Rush of CRU come out to watch the match from the entranceway. We also see a masked Harley Cameron as “Harleygram” watching the match on a television backstage. Top Flight & Hologram win a very good match.

Megan Bayne vs. Thunder Rosa

Thunder Rosa is presented as exceptionally resilient, getting plenty in the match despite dealing with her injured wrist from the attack earlier in the show. But Bayne prevails.

** As Bayne continues the attack after the bell, Toni Storm comes to the ring. Bayne hits the F5 on Storm before the officials emerge to end the chaos. Luther carries Toni to the back.

Undisputed Kingdom (Kyle O’Reilly & Roderick Strong) vs. FTR (Cash Wheeler & Dax Harwood)

** Daniel Garcia accompanies FTR, and Adam Cole is out with O’Reilly & Strong. Garcia and Cole join the commentary desk for this main event. As all Collision main events tend to be, this tag match was excellent. That said, the constant level of chatter from the four guys at the announce desk was a little distracting, some might argue.

FTR finally prevailed after many nearfalls with the Shatter Machine. The show ended with Cole and Garcia facing off in the ring, before shaking hands. FTR were not so keen on handshakes.
