Most recognize Karrion Kross as a scheming backstage figure on WWE’s Monday Night Raw program. However, soon, some will see him play a completely different on-screen character.
“Blue Evening,” a film that sees Kross play a supporting role, will make its world premiere at the Pasadena Film Festival on April 8, per a recent social media post from the wrestler.
We are thrilled to announce, as an Official Selection, BLUE EVENING will have its World Premier @PasFilmFest this April 8th. The film follows a man who attempts to escape homelessness and drug addiction through an art dealing scheme. Needing just $2,000 to obtain a painting for sale in a thrift store – which he learned could be valuated at millions of dollars – the protagonist then looks to obtain the funds to make the purchase.
This is where Kross – known in the film as “Frank” – comes in. Kross plays the role of a construction site employer who gives the main character a chance as he chases the $2,000 needed to buy the painting. However, his employment hinges on a few stipulations, including staying sober and heading to addiction prevention programs.
