Dragon Lee is still the WWE Speed Champion.
Lee defended his WWE web series belt this week, defeating War Raiders tag wrestler Ivar. In a match with a five-minute time limit – a rule used for Speed championship matches, two minutes longer than non-championship bouts on the show – Lee reversed a move into a roll-up pin for a win in just three-and-a-half minutes.

Ivar earned a shot against Lee after getting through a four-man Speed tournament, defeating Yoshiki Inamura and Dominik Mysterio in recent episodes of the show.
Ivar is now the second name who has fallen to Lee since he claimed the title last November. He previously defended the belt against Chad Gable in January, beating him with just over half a minute to go in the five-minute time-limit bout.
Lee is under 40 days away from becoming the longest-reigning Speed champ, a record that Andrade set with his 161-day run with the belt last year. He is just the third man to hold the belt since the Speed web series debuted on X last year.
Before Lee appears on the show again, Speed will flip back to focusing on the women’s division. The next challenger for inaugural WWE Women’s Speed Champion Candice LeRae will be decided in the coming weeks with a a four-woman tournament.
On one side of the bracket, NXT’s Sol Ruca will face off against Katana Chance. Michin will meet Shayna Baszler in the other semi-final fight. The tournament will begin next Wednesday.
