Toni Storm wants a “date” at Dynasty.
AEW Women’s World Champion Storm challenged Megan Bayne to a matchup at the promotion’s April 6 pay-per-view card, Dynasty, which is scheduled to take place inside the Liacouras Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
The proposal was issued by Storm following a pair of recent run-ins with Bayne on TV.
Last week, Storm’s championship celebration after a successful fight against Mariah May was spoiled by Bayne, who attacked her from behind at the end of the segment.
Storm was hurt once again during Bayne’s match this week, as Bayne threw opponent Kris Statlander into Storm, who was seated at ringside with the English broadcast crew.
The matchup, if confirmed, will be the first PPV appearance for Bayne in AEW. She has strictly worked episodes of Dynamite and Collision since she joined the roster in January, defeating names like Thunder Rosa and Statlander in recent weeks.
The booking also lines Storm up for her first title fight since her trilogy against Mariah May over the past year.
