Bull James speaks about Homicide’s final match.

A 32-year pro wrestling career is coming to an end on March 20th as Homicide will be having his final match. The Outlaw Wrestling promotion is hosting it in Brooklyn, New York.

Homicide is set to team with Bull James to take on Mike Santana and Afa Jr. Ahead of the match, Bull James guest appeared on Busted Open to promote it and said Homicide asked him a week ago to be part of his final match. James said he did not hesitate to agree.

Well, I mean, just to touch on what you said, when you see the outpouring from people (for Homicide), I think I just saw Adam Pearce posted something on Instagram. (CM) Punk was posting about him on his Instagram Story. For guys that are on that schedule, on a European tour right now to take the time to do something like that, that tells you everything you need to know, right? But yes, as far as the match itself, I had recently sent Homicide a picture that I took (at) RexPlex from the crowd at a Ring of Honor show years ago with a disposable camera that I found in my basement, and I found this stack of pictures and so we were laughing about that and then, maybe like a week ago, he called me up he asked me to be his partner for the match and you know, I didn’t even think twice. It’s special, it’s an honor. I’m proud to call him one of my best friends and to have him ask me to do that means the world.

Taking to his Facebook page, Homicide revealed that he’s retiring from in-ring competition because a doctor found a cyst on his brain. He’s had it for months and it is getting worse. Homicide added that his speech and vision is bad in addition to it becoming more tasking for him to travel.
