Jarrett is bringing a mystery partner to defend the belts.
The duo of Raj Dhesi and Satnam Singh were crowned AAA World Tag Team Champions at Triplemanía XXXII in August 2024. The belts have not been defended since.
AAA opted to vacate the championships and they would later post a video message from Jeff Jarrett. Jarrett accompanied Singh and Dhesi to the ring for their 2024 Tag Title match. He stated that he still has the belts.
Jarrett said he’ll be at AAA’s Rey de Reyes event on March 22nd and he’ll be bringing a partner to defend the belts. He said unlike the ‘Mexican folks,’ he’s an American and an honorable human being. He added that he does not care what AAA Director Dorian Roldán has to say about his plans to defend the belts.
