AEW spikes its audience featuring Street Fight between Jon Moxley and Cope

AEW Dynamite scored its largest 18-49 audience of the year as it presented a rematch between Jon Moxley and Cope for the AEW Championship.

The March 19 episode from Omaha averaged 658,000 viewers and 258,000 viewers (0.19) in the 18-49 demographic on TBS.

The audience grew five percent over last week’s audience and was Dynamite’s second largest of the year behind the January 15 edition of the show.

In the 18-49 demographic, the audience rose by 17 percent, representing its highest mark since November 20, 2024. The growth was seen among both male and female audiences in the demo.

However, its 18-34 audience dropped by nine percent, averaging 82,000 viewers,

The 35-54 audience grew by 34 percent this week, averaging 176,000 viewers among viewers.

Against its cable competition, Dynamite ranked sixth in prime time as the chart was dominated by men’s basketball with the top three spots reserved for the NCAA men’s tournament on truTV. Dynamite also ranked behind the Detroit Pistons vs. Miami Heat on ESPN, and Jesse Watters Primetime on Fox News.

Wrestlenomics reported on the quarter hour performances with the peak occurring during the opening fifteen minutes for the four-way eliminator with 765,000 viewers and 0.22 in the demo. The Street Fight grew to 704,000 viewers, which was the second largest quarter of the night between 9 – 9:15 p.m. ET.
