Former AEW World Champion Swerve Strickland made a live appearance at FSW’s Chris Bey benefit show on Sunday.
Future Stars of Wrestling ‘Beynefit for Bey’ took place at the Silverton Casino Lodge in Las Vegas, NV.
During the show, Strickland appeared in the ring to address the crowd, who chanted, “Whose house?” Strickland urged the audience to respond, “Bey’s House.”
He then made some remarks, in part saying of Chris:
I listen to his interviews. I listen to him talking about the moment and his accident. Just hearing the fact that he’s still so upbeat, still so full of spirit, so full of passion for wrestling that took something away from him and he still wants to do something for it. He still wants to keep giving.

I look forward to you eventually getting up and getting back in the ring and doing what you love. You’re showing the world what your true passion is because you’re getting stronger by the second. By the second. And trust me, when you’re ready, I will be here for you.
Earlier in the show, Rey Mysterio appeared via video from Nottingham, England, while on the current WWE European tour. The veteran said:
I wanted to shoot this video to let you know that I wish I was there today, man. It’s unfortunate. But I wanted to let you know that my family and I have been praying for you. You’ve been in our thoughts. And we are wishing you a healthy recovery. We are all wishing you a blessed recovery. And most important, a very patient recovery, my man.
You have been doing incredible. Keep crushing it. I’ve been following up on the updates, and it’s amazing. It’s amazing what you’ve accomplished in such a short amount of time.
