AEW Collision Slam Dunk Sunday notes: Storm vs. Bayne official, multiple matches announced, Spring BreakThru special promoted

Toni Storm’s title match with Megan Bayne was made official during the broadcast of AEW Collision: Slam Dunk Sunday.

Storm issued the challenge on the March 19th episode of Dynamite and cut another promo on Sunday’s show.

The match graphic to make the bout official was later shown.

Also during Sunday’s broadcast, a special episode of AEW Dynamite was announced. Dubbed ‘Spring BreakThru’, the episode will mark what the company called Dynamite becoming “the longest-running prime-time wrestling show in Turner Sports history”.

Several matches were announced for the March 26th edition of Dynamite.

Kenny Omega will face Blake Christian; Kyle Fletcher will go up against Brody King; Mark Briscoe will take on Konosuke Takeshita; and Mark Davis will face Powerhouse Hobbs.

In a tag match, Toni Storm & Thunder Rosa will face Megan Bayne & Penelope Ford.

Also announced was an interview by Tony Schiavone with Rated FTR.
