Chris Bey made an emotional in-ring appearance at his benefit show in Las Vegas on Sunday night.

The FSW ‘Beynefit for Bey’ show was main-evented by WWE’s Karrion Kross defeating Hammerstone.

After the final match, Chris Bey came out under his own power with his partner Brittnie Brooks and entered the ring.

He embraced Kross and Hammerstone and then took the mic. He then asked for his long-time partner Ace Austin to join the group of friends and loved ones in the ring.

Then he spoke to the cheering crowd about his recovery so far:

I’d be lying if I said I did it by myself because I truly and honestly believe that because of each and every one of you, and everybody in the back, that’s the reason why I’m standing here right now.

Love is a real thing and all my life, all I’ve ever truly, truly, truly loved — until I met her [Brittnie] — was professional wrestling and professional wrestling has given me the ability to be me and to be accepted for me and me and to connect with heroes, with idols, and with each and every one of you who has helped shape me into the man I am today. So for that, I must say thank you.

But look around. Look left, look right, look behind you, in front of you. Look at the card we had tonight. That’s the power of love.

Thank you to all of you for creating this special night where people from everywhere around the world, all companies, all of you can create something so special that’s gonna live in history forever and live in my heart forever.

This is a moment in time to take pictures, have joy, have happiness, don’t be afraid to be emotional, don’t be afraid to let your emotions show. I’m crying a lot in front of you; a lot of you have cried to me. I love you all, even AJ Francis [Laughter]. But I truly don’t know what to say other than thank you.

Until I figure out exactly what I want to say, I’m going to leave it at this. I love you. I thank you. I am nothing without you. Thank you.
