Chris Jericho is upping the stakes in his feud with Bandido.

A potential culmination of the months-long rivalry between world champ Jericho and masked talent Bandido could come to an end with a high-stakes singles bout next month.

Jericho challenged Bandido to a match at AEW’s April 6 Dynasty pay-per-view, but with a twist that could significantly impact the losing fighter’s future.

Jericho is willing to put his ROH World Championship on the line, but only if Bandido is willing to sacrifice something arguably even more important: His mask.

The 155-day ROH champ laid out his challenge during Wednesday’s episode of Dynamite.

“Bandido, you got your brother’s mask back. Congratulations. But it’s not Gravity’s mask that I want, it’s yours. I want you to feel the humiliation and disgrace that your brother felt when I tore his mask off in front of your family. And why would you put up your mask? I know you want to be Ring of Honor Champion once again. So how about my title versus your mask at Dynasty? Bandido, is it worth risking the humiliation? Is it worth risking the disgrace? Is it worth making your mother cry again when you lose your mask? Is it worth it? I think it is. See you at Dynasty.”

Jericho has defended his ROH title three times since dethroning Mark Briscoe last October. Among his past appearances were singles matches against Tomohiro Ishii and Matt Cardona. His most recent title appearance was a February matchup against Bandido, where he retained via pinfall after 17 minutes.

As Jericho alluded to in his promo, Bandido is a former ROH champ. He held the belt for 152 days back in 2021, later vacating his belt to end the reign.

If confirmed, Jericho vs. Bandido will be the fourth match to join Dynasty. Here’s an updated look at the potential card:

  • Chris Jericho vs. Bandido (ROH World Championship vs. Mask Match)
  • Kenny Omega vs. Ricochet vs. Mike Bailey (AEW International Championship)
  • Jon Moxley vs. Swerve Strickland (AEW World Championship)
  • Toni Storm vs. Megan Bayne (AEW Women’s World Championship)
