The AEW World Trios Championships will return to pay-per-view action next month.

The Death Riders trio of Claudio Castagnoli, PAC & Wheeler Yuta will put their belts up against Rated FTR (Adam Copeland, Cash Wheeler & Dax Harwood) at AEW Dynasty on April 6 from Philadelphian, Pennsylvania.

The pairing was announced immediately after Wednesday’s episode of AEW Dynamite, during which both teams accepted the matchup.

Rated FTR initially set their sights on the titles on Wednesday, calling out the trio during a sit-down interview with Tony Schiavone.

Later in the program, the Death Riders turned the tables on Rated FTR.

“You have the audacity to challenge us? Nah, you see that’s not how things work around here,” PAC said during a backstage segment. “At AEW Dynasty, it is we that challenge you! We that challenge you to survive the Death Riders.”

Death Riders have held the trios belts since last August, when they won a ladder match at All In 2024. They have since defended the belts seven times, including a win earlier this month against AR Fox and Top Flight.

The upcoming match will be their first time putting the titles on the line as part of a PPV card since they earned the belts last summer.

Rated FTR will be teaming up for the first time since January, when they had a brief series of matches together. If successful, it will be FTR’s first tag titles since 2023.

Here’s an updated look at AEW Dynasty following Wednesday’s Dynamite:

  • Chris Jericho vs. Bandido (ROH World Championship vs. Mask Match)
  • Kenny Omega vs. Ricochet vs. Mike Bailey (AEW International Championship)
  • Death Riders (Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta & PAC) vs. Rated FTR (Cope, Cash Wheeler & Dax Harwood)
  • Jon Moxley vs. Swerve Strickland (AEW World Championship)
  • Toni Storm vs. Megan Bayne (AEW Women’s World Championship)
