Jon Moxley and Swerve Strickland will face off in mixed tag action before their title meeting at AEW Dynasty.
Moxley will team with Death Riders ally Marina Shafir to face the team of Strickland and Willow Nightingale at the April 2 version of AEW Dynamite from Peoria, Illinois.
The tag match was made following a segment featuring all four this week. Nightingale provided back-up for Strickland during his face-to-face with AEW World Champion Moxley, keeping an eye on Shafir during the exchange.
Shafir jumped Nightingale as Moxley and other Death Riders allies were on their way out of the arena, causing a brief brawl to ensue.

The matchup will be a first-ever AEW mixed tag appearance for Moxley, Shafir, and Strickland. Nightingale notably appeared in mixed tag bouts twice last year, teaming with Adam Copeland and NJPW’s Tomohiro Ishii.
It was also announced that Will Ospreay will appear on next week’s Dynamite.
