ROH World Champion Athena made a rare appearance on AEW programming on Saturday.

After TBS Champion Mercedes Moné defeated Robyn Renegade on Collision, Tony Schiavone entered the ring to interview her.

To boos, Moné said she was the greatest TBS Champion of all time. She then declared her entry into the women’s Owen Hart Foundation Tournament.

Moné also ran down Billie Starkz and “whoever trained her.”

Starkz’s trainer ROH World Champion Athena then made her way to the ring. The two faced off.

Moné went for a belt shot but Athena ducked and landed an elbow. Athena climbed to the top rope to deliver the O-Face but Robyn Renegade re-entered the ring and took the bump instead.

Later in the show, Athena also declared herself for the Owen Hart Cup.
