A #1 contenders match has been added to NJPW’s Windy City Riot in Chicago.
NJPW has announced that Mina Shirakawa will face AZM on the April 11 event with the winner challenging Mercedes Moné for the STRONG Women’s Championship.
Moné defeated Shirakawa at Wrestle Dynasty on January 5 to retain the STRONG Women’s Championship and take Shirakawa’s RevPro British Women’s title to add to her list of championships.
Moné defeated AZM and Hazuki in a three-way match at Sakura Genesis 2023 to retain the IWGP Women’s title when she held that belt.
Windy City Riot will take place from the Wintrust Arena in Chicago with the following matches:
