And the new North American Champion is Ricky Saints.
Headlining the April 1st edition of NXT on The CW saw Shawn Spears defending the North American Championship against Ricky Saints.
At ringside for the bout was Spears’ group The Cullen (Izzi Dame, Brooks Jensen & Niko Vance). Despite having the numbers game in his favor, Spears was not able to retain his title as Saints emerged victorious to win his first title in WWE.
It was in early February that Saints arrived to WWE and just a month later, he’s a champion.
Soon after his victory, Saints was ambushed from behind by Ethan Page.
