More gold has been added to Sunday’s AEW pay-per-view.

The Hurt Syndicate duo of Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin will put their titles on the line at AEW Dynasty this weekend, facing the Learning Tree’s Big Bill and Bryan Keith. It’s now one of eight bouts set to go down this weekend at the Liacouras Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

The matchup was confirmed shortly after Bill and Keith challenged the champs on Wednesday’s episode of Dynamite.

“On Collision, we whooped Top Flight’s a**. Tonight, we whooped… Their a**,” Bill said, alluding to the team of CJ Esparza and Gaige Noonan, whom they defeated in a little under 90 seconds on Wednesday. “And on Sunday in Philadelphia, we are gonna whoop your a**. Because we want that match for the AEW World Tag Team Championships.”

Bill and Keith have been pressured by faction leader Chris Jericho to prove that they have improved while under his watch. The upcoming title bout is their first high-stakes appearance since they were given that wake-up call last week.

For Bill, a win would kick off a second tag team title run in AEW. He previously held the promotion’s tag titles from late 2023 to early 2024 alongside Ricky Starks, eventually dropping the titles to Darby Allin and Sting a little over a year ago.

Keith has yet to earn gold since joining AEW.

The Hurt Syndicate will be appearing in a pay-per-view title match for the second consecutive month. They defended their belts as part of Revolution last month, overcoming The Outrunners in eight minutes.

It was also confirmed Wednesday that a pair of Owen Hart Foundation Tournament Quarter-Final matches will go down at Dynasty.

In the men’s bracket, Will Ospreay will welcome AEW’s newest signing, Kevin Knight, as part of an opening round bout. Knight was slotted into the tournament following the departure of Jay White, who has reportedly suffered an injury.

The women’s match will see TBS Champion Mercedes Moné meet former champ Julia Hart.

Here’s an updated look at AEW Dynasty, which now has six title fights in total.
