Five matches have been lined up for this weekend’s episode of AEW Collision, including the return of an NJPW vet.
Tomohiro Ishii will team with Powerhouse Hobbs to face Don Callis Family’s Konosuke Takeshita and Kyle Fletcher on this weekend’s episode, which is being taped tonight in Peoria, Illinois.
Returning to AEW weekly TV for the first time since last November when he challenged Chris Jericho for his ROH World Championship, Ishii will provide help for Hobbs, who has been feuding with the Don Callis Family in recent weeks.
Ishii, who appeared as part of the 2025 New Japan Cup last month, was in the U.S. as early as last week, as he worked a faced Preston Vance as part of an ROH taping in Milwaukee. He carries a recent history with upcoming opponent Takeshita, as he notably lost a title match to him at the NJPW and AEW cross-promotional Wrestle Dynasty card in January.
The tag bout is one of five matchups set for Saturday. The card also includes an Owen Hart Cup Tournament preview tag match, a singles appearance from Mike Bailey ahead of his International Championship shot this Sunday, and a singles booking between Cash Wheeler and PAC before they meet in trios action.
Here are all of the announced matches:
- Cash Wheeler vs. PAC
- Top Flight (Dante Martin & Darius Martin) vs. CRU (Action Andretti & Lio Rush)
- Mike Bailey vs. Dralistico
- Powerhouse Hobbs & Tomohiro Ishii vs. Kyle Fletcher and Konosuke Takeshita
- Mercedes Moné & Harley Cameron vs. Athena & Julia Hart
