Nanae Takahashi’s retirement road is going to feature a match against Jungle Kyona.
On April 5th, Dream Star Fighting Marigold held an event in Kyoto, Japan and there was a singles match between Nanae Takahashi and MIRAI. Takahashi is on her road to retirement and she’ll officially be wrapping up her 28-year career in May.
The match with MIRAI resulted in a 15-minute time limit draw. Post-match, Takahashi was joined in the ring by Jungle Kyona.
Kyona expressed her intentions to face Takahashi at Marigold’s April 27th event in Nagoya. It’ll be Kyona’s first match since April 2023 and it was in her last match that she shared the ring with Takahashi in a tag bout.
Several months prior to her taking a hiatus, she underwent knee surgery.
