Bowens is back and defeated his former tag partner.
As the AEW Dynasty Zero Hour was ongoing, Max Caster came out to host his open challenge. The lights in the arena went out and then the new theme song and entrance graphic(s) for Anthony Bowens popped up.
Bowens returned with Billy Gunn flanking him. Bowens is back to being billed as the ‘5 Tool Player.’ His last match for AEW had been on January 1st at Fight for the Fallen when him and Caster lost an AEW World Tag Team Title match to The Hurt Syndicate (Bobby Lashley & Shelton Benjamin). The Acclaimed split soon after.
Bowens picked up a quick victory over Caster and then spoke directly into the camera and said it is time for him to make history.
