MJF shows up in favor of The Hurt Syndicate.
The second match of the night at AEW Dynasty was the AEW World Tag Team Title match that saw Big Bill and Bryan Keith challenge The Hurt Syndicate (Bobby Lashley & Shelton Benjamin) for the championships.
While Bill and Lashley were going at it on the outside of the ring, MJF showed up in the front row and snuck a punch on Bill.
The Hurt Syndicate went on to retain their championships when Benjamin pinned Keith.
MVP and MJF had been in communication about the possibility of MJF joining The Hurt Syndicate, but that was opposed by Lashley and Benjamin several times. MJF and MVP’s history dates back to 2018 when they both competed for Major League Wrestling.
